Description

Translate and Rotate

When selected, the Translate and Rotate tools appear in the selected 2D view. You can use the tools as follows:

Translate tool… Drag to move the selected object(s) within the scene.

Rotate tool… Provides controls to rotate the selected object(s) from the current pivot position. You should note that the default pivot position is at the center of the selected view.

You can do the following if you need the pivot point to appear at the center of an image tile when you are working with the Image Stitcher:

  • Select the image tile that you need to rotate.
  • Click the Fit button on the Manipulate panel.

The selected tile will be maximized and centered in the Image Stitcher workspace. As such, the pivot point will now be in the center of the selected image tile.

Undo

Undoes the translation and/or rotation that is currently applied to the selected object(s). You should note that multiple undo levels are available.

NOTE The Undo button can also be used to undo transformations applied through functions such as aligning centroids and registrations, as well as changes applied in the Advanced Dataset Properties panel to the position in space of a dataset or to its orientation.

Dynamic refresh

If selected, other axis representations of the selected object(s) will be updated in real time. If not selected, related MPR views will be updated at the end of a manipulation.
